Online Hypnotherapy & Emotional Support for People Living With Cancer
I’m Yvette, a qualified clinical hypnotherapist and certified hypno-oncology practitioner. Alongside my private practice, I work weekly with a local cancer charity, supporting people affected by cancer.
I understand how frightening and overwhelming a cancer diagnosis can feel, and I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can focus on your emotional wellbeing alongside your medical treatment.
Specialist support for your emotional wellbeing during and after cancer treatment
A cancer diagnosis can affect every part of your life. Alongside the physical demands of treatment, you may be experiencing anxiety, fear, uncertainty, difficulty sleeping or simply feeling that life has changed beyond recognition.
You don't have to navigate those feelings alone.
I offer gentle, supportive online hypnotherapy sessions for people affected by cancer, helping you develop practical ways to manage some of the emotional and physical challenges that can accompany your cancer journey.
Because sessions take place online, you can receive support from the comfort and privacy of your own home — without the stress of travelling to an appointment.

How I can support you
Everyone's experience of cancer is different. You may be struggling with one particular issue, or you may simply feel overwhelmed by everything that has happened.
Together, we can explore what you are experiencing and identify techniques that may help you feel calmer, more confident and more in control.
Scanxiety and treatment anxiety
Waiting for a scan, receiving results or preparing for another appointment can be incredibly stressful.
Hypnotherapy and relaxation techniques may help you manage anxious thoughts, calm your nervous system and feel better able to cope with the uncertainty.
Sleep and relaxation
Worry and uncertainty can make it difficult to switch off, particularly at night.
I can teach you relaxation and self-hypnosis techniques that you can continue using between sessions, helping you develop your own toolkit for moments when you feel overwhelmed.
Managing pain, fatigue and treatment-related symptoms
Cancer and its treatment can place enormous demands on both body and mind.
Hypnotherapy may help some people develop ways of changing their response to pain, reducing tension and coping more effectively with fatigue or distress associated with treatment-related symptoms.
Your medical treatment always comes first, and my role is to provide complementary emotional and psychological support alongside the care you receive from your medical team.
Rebuilding confidence and a sense of control
Cancer can make the future feel uncertain and can leave you feeling as though your life is no longer in your hands.
Our sessions can provide a safe space to explore those feelings and help you reconnect with your own strengths, confidence and sense of control.
Living with uncertainty or fear of recurrence
Even when treatment has finished, the emotional impact of cancer doesn't necessarily disappear.
If you find yourself worrying about the future or becoming anxious whenever you notice a new symptom, you're not alone.
We can work together on techniques to help you manage those thoughts and live more comfortably with uncertainty.
Why work with me?
I'm Yvette, a qualified Medical & Clinical Hypnotherapist and Certified Hypno-oncology Practitioner.
Alongside my private practice, I have a weekly practice with a local cancer charity, where I support people affected by cancer.
I chose to specialise in this area because I understand personally how deeply cancer can affect a family. My mum died from terminal cancer, and my own experience of grief led me to explore the ways that therapeutic support, writing, meditation and self-care can help us through difficult periods of life.
My personal experience doesn't replace professional training — but it has given me a deep understanding of how frightening, overwhelming and emotional the cancer journey can be.
My aim is to provide a calm, compassionate space where you can be yourself without having to put on a brave face.

There is no waiting room and no journey home afterwards.
You can simply make yourself comfortable and take the time you need.
What happens in a session?

This gives us an opportunity to talk briefly about what you're experiencing, ask any questions you may have and decide whether you feel comfortable working with me.
If we decide to go ahead, your sessions will be tailored to you.
There is no expectation that you should already know what you need or be able to explain everything perfectly.
We start where you are.
What is the cost of sessions?
Sessions are £60 per 60 minute session, or £200 if you book a block of 4 sessions, saving £40.
